P.-36 19-2027 Approval by the Board of Education of Memorandum of Understanding, No Cost between the District and Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD), San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide an evidence-based arts program that is consistent with recent research showing that coordinated school visits to museums increase children's confidence and ability to retain knowledge while adding to their depth of knowledge in critical content areas such as social studies and history, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Burckhalter, Emerson, Horace Mann, Joaquin Miller, Manzanita SEED and Markham Elementary Schools, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of December 7, 2019 through December 6, 2022, at no cost to the District.
