P.-23 19-1950 Approval by the Board of Education of Memorandum of Understanding, No Cost between the District and Robert Jacobs dba Jazz Education Ensemble, Emeryville, CA, for the latter to provide weekly jazz classes lasting 55 minutes each, one day per week during fall and spring school semesters to an average of seven 4th and 5th grade music students per class and to present live concerts, on a schedule to be determined, with eight professional musicians performing side by side with Beginning Jazz Class students at Thornhill Elementary School and Kaiser Elementary School, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 10, 2019 through July 31, 2022, at no cost to the District.
