P.-50 19-1846 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and John Garcia, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, train and lead peer educators to provide classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs (ATOD) awareness sessions for students violating District tobacco/drug free policies, cessation and strengths-based life skills and behavior coaching at 2 high schools and 1 middle school in coordination with the site's COST and administrative team and school site staff and related services, all as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 12, 2019 through May 31, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $46,650.00.
