P.-49 19-1845 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Queerly Elementary, Alameda, CA, for the latter to work as a consultant to the Healthy Oakland Teen Program Manager and to 1) Provide consultation to identify gaps in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) student and teacher programming; 2) Assist in design and development of training materials for administrators and school site staff professional development as it relates to meeting the needs of LGBTQ youth and families; 3) Support teachers in the implementation of anti-bullying curriculum; and 4)Serve as a content expert for onsite technical assistance to schools as needed, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 in an amount not to exceed $19,950.00.
