19-1880 7-11 Committee Assembly and then Break Out Sessions with Attendance Area Community to a) receive input, pursuant to statutory criteria, as to whether Edward Shands Adult Education Center is needed presently and in the foreseeable future as an educational facility by the District and b) If not, shall the property be declared surplus and what advisory recommendation(s), if any, on future use should be made to the Board of Education.

    E.C. 17390 "The school district advisory committee shall do all of the following: ...(c) Cause to have circulated throughout the attendance area a priority list of surplus space and real property and provide for hearings of community input to the committee on acceptable uses of space and real property, including the sale or lease of surplus real property for child care development purposes pursuant to Section 17458."

    Committee hearing prior to listing surplus property is not required hearing.
