F.-3 19-1417 Adoption by the Facilities Committee, upon recommendation of staff, recommendation to the Board of Education, entitled Resolution No. 1819-0247 - Board of Education Charge To "7-11" Committee Limiting Consideration of Properties for Declaration As Surplus To Specific Sites Identified As First Cohort Properties.
Regarding the particular properties identified for consideration: 4 out of 5 are CDCs. One set of questions is: Has the Early Childhood Education Department been engaged on these? That is a department that has been expanding, currently requires no unrestricted contribution, and is bringing dollars into the district as well as providing much needed services and education. Would ECE want to locate a preschool program in any of these locations in the foreseeable future? If so, (See nonagenda)
