P.-62 18-2642 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Juan Quintana, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide daily support groups and individual assistance to "at promise" students; maintenance of continuous contact with parents of "at promise" students by phone or home visits; on-going professional development for the staff, in understanding the issues of K-5 "at promise" students and how these issues can be addressed during the school day; and parent workshops in primary languages on how parents can improve student academic and social skills, at Franklin Elementary School, for the period of August 20, 2018 through May 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00.
