K2.-39 18-2343 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Vanna O'Conner, Los Angeles, CA, for the latter to provide immersive professional learning that helps leaders and teachers: 1) build a strong understanding of standards and standards aligned to instructional practices in English Language Arts (ELA); 2) build systems, structures, and adult culture that best support standards aligned instruction and deepen impact; and 3) collaborate and share best practices across schools so that District leaders and teachers leave with a clear and aligned vision for what strong Tier 1 literacy instruction looks like in ELA and feel to implement strategies to support, at Edna Brewer Middle School, for the period of September 27, 2018 through September 28, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $3,290.00.
