K2.-9 18-2072 Approval by the Board of Education of Memorandum of Understanding, No Cost between the District and Museum of Children's Arts (MOCHA), Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide school age residencies where students gain fundamental visual arts skills in alignment with state standards; help students build socio-emotional skills that provide the foundation of a healthy and successful learning environment, including creative and critical thinking, constructive communication, self-esteem and the ability to collaborate; and in enhanced learining at Crocker Highlands, RISE Community, Allendale, Cleveland, East Oakland Pride, Howard, Martin Luther King Jr., Parker and Joaquin Miller Elementary Schools; and ROOTS International Academy and Roosevelt Middle Schools, via the Community Partnerships, Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of July 13, 2018 through July, 13, 2021, at no cost to the District.
