K2.-2 18-1639 Approval by the Board of Education of a Memorandum of Understanding, No Cost between the District and ScriptEd Org, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide Computer Science classes taught by professional software developers, teaching students HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and build interactive webpages with curriculum aligned with Computer Science Teachers Association standards, and refreshed regularly with feedback from industry partners; and providing students exposure to tech careers through field trips to local companies and start-ups, at Coliseum College Preparatory Academy, Emiliano Zapata Street Academy and Oakland Technical High School, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of January 1, 2018 through January 1, 2021, at no cost to the District.
