K.-22 18-1731 Approval by the Board of Education of a Grant Award and Subcontract between District and WestEd, accepting $555,000.00, in S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation monies, to support the California Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) K-8 Early Implementation Initiative for Years 5 and 6 to include participation in the Core Leadership Training, Director meetings, technical assistance, piloting instructional materials, Teacher Leader and Expansion Teacher Programs, Principal Support, and to provide a full-time project director to oversee the program for years 5 and 6, for the term June 1, 2018 through July 1, 2020, pursuant to the terms and conditions thereof, if any.
