K.-8 18-0897 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between District and Alternatives In Action, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 300 hours of Community Support for Yemen students and families, including academic tutoring; translation of internal and external correspondence; meetings with Yemen families to support understanding and navigation of pathway planning including Parent Nights; home visits to translate; act as an advisor for Yemen youth and assist in planning events to assure that Yemen students and families are included, at McClymonds High School, in the additional amount of $15,000.00, increasing the not to exceed amount of the Contract from $5,848.50 to $20,848.50, for the period of November 1, 2017 through June 8, 2018. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
