K.-17 18-1022 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Tandem, Partners in Early Learning, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide two one-hour workshops entitled "Early Language and the Growing Brain" and the "Bilingual Family", at each Summer Pre-K site: Martin Luther King Jr., Hoover, Garfield, Global, Futures Elementary Schools and at an East Oakland site to be determined and a one-half hour family read aloud for pre-K through first grade students and families at New Highland Elementary School's Family Literacy Night, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of April 2, 2018 through June 29, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $3,625.00.
