K.-32 17-2551 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and First Chapter, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter provide supplement musical and movement activities into the daily programming of youngest learners' day by bringing in a children's musician to engage children, teachers, and families in early literacy development activities through oral language, call/response and rhythm, bringing these early literacy events together for Child Development Centers children, families and community 0-5 play groups, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of October 30, 2017 through November 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $6,000.00.
