K.-39 17-2090 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and East Bay Asian Youth Center, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a Community School Manager, the latter to oversee the family engagement and leadership structure programs; attendance-building systems and programs; coordination of service team; health and wellness partnerships and health transitions and resource development; and a Family Advocate, who will provide intensive case management for twenty five chronically absent families, shared between Garfield Elementary and Roosevelt Middle, as described in the Scope of Work, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the term of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $158,000.00.
