K.-33 17-2063 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Pro Arts, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide thirteen (13) Teaching Artist residencies in 13 TK classrooms for the duration of 18 weeks each, serving 336 students including pairing Teaching Artists with Guests Artists at select schools, who will engage TK students further in art making and critical thinking, through special projects and presentations; provide four (4) professional development sessions for TK Teachers in arts integration during the school year with video documentation thereof, via the Teaching and Learning Department, for the term September 29, 2017 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
