17-1643 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and School Services of California, Sacramento, CA, for the latter to work in a proactive manner to protect and advance the District's interest in Sacramento including developing strategies, monitoring legislation that would impact OUSD and lobbying the Legislature and State Administration; also schedule necessary meetings with local leadership, as well as coordinate legislative meetings for the Board Members and District staff travelling to Sacramento, for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
