17-1040 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Sam Haynor, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to (1) refine existing out-of-school time elementary STEM curriculum; (2) create four new middle school career exploration modules to introduce middle school students to the industry sectors of Arts, Media and Entertainment; Public Service/Social Justice; Engineering and Design; and Engineering, Utilities and Natural Resources; and (3) provide professional development to a cohort of elementary and middle school summer program staff who will then implement the curriculum for 2,140 students across District, via the After School Program Office of the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of February 1, 2017 through June 16, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $21,000.00.
