Schools receive no G1 funds in 2017-18; or Option 2: Allocate just the middle school component (approximately $2.7M) for 2017-18. Wait until 2018-19 to allocate the salary piece (approximately $9M); or Option 3: Allocate a portion of the middle school funds for 2017-18 (50% of the total amount originally slated for middle schools). Have the remaining 50% balance allocated for 2018-19, after which time the allocation will be for the full amount each following year. Wait to allocate the K-12 salary portion until tax revenue is collected in spring 2018, and bargaining has occurred.
