17-0195 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Marcela Pablo, Oakland, CA, for the latter to serve as a Language Support Assistant, who will assist Newcomer teachers in-class with Students with Interrupted Formal Education (SIFE) student cohort; assist 10th grade Career Technical Education (CTE) teachers with SIFE in-class; provide one-on-one reading and writing practice and math literacy practice with SIFE students; meet Newcomer teachers during collaboration time to determine next steps, needs, and planning for SIFE cohort and accompany Newcomer Cohort on class trips, at Fremont High School, for the period of January 03, 2017 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $21,440.00.
