Oakland Promise seems to promise outside resources but raises the question OUSD priority when OUSD budget cut means keeping OUSD's contribution to Oakland Promise at the cost of letting go OUSD custodian or teacher.
Many Oakland Students will not be going to college. I'm concerned that OUSD resources will be used for that Oakland Promise, resources that will not have serve that portion of the Oakland Student population not going to college.
