16-2650 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Mills College, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide, via the Oakland Education Council (OEC), 16-18 hours of facilitation of inquiry sessions in collaboration with teacher leaders; introduce and utilize digital tools to support student data sharing and document inquiry; provide 2 optional learning sessions at Mills College (Gather and Forum); synthesize teachers' key understanding of student learning needs and teacher instructional shifts to improve practice in Summary of Progress in January and June; provide opportunity to share learnings at Mills College at the March 2017 Teacher Inquiry in Action Forum; set up monthly meetings with District department head to discuss plans and results (quarterly includes teacher leaders to discuss vision, progress and next steps); and related services, via the Office of Post-Secondary Education, for the period of August 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $20,480.00.
