16-2283 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Higher Ground Neighborhood Development Corp, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 20 students group rehabilitation to learn coping mechanisms that help control and manage anger, non-compliance, impulse control, pro social skills, grief and loss to increase students social and emotional functioning while increasing the feeling of being in a healthy, safe and supportive environment at RISE Community School, for the period September 8, 2016 through June 9, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
