16-1783 Approval by the Board of Education of a Memorandum of Understanding between District and the City of Oakland to produce the Oakland Promise Card, which will, among other things, automatically enroll District students, whose parent/guardian do not opt out, in the Oakland Public Library System for checking out books and resources, for the term August 31, 2016 through June 30, 2019, at no cost to the District, and may be extended thereafter by mutual written agreement signed by both Parties.
