16-2180 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Institute for Sustainable Economic, Educational and Environmental Design (I-SEEED), Oakland, CA, for the latter to train 50 high school students from across the District as student researchers and Youth-led Participatory Action Research (YPAR) practitioners, through bi-monthly meetings, and one overnight data analysis/planning retreat; train, facilitate, develop and support LCAP Student Advisors, the All City Council Governing Board, and Meaningful Student Engagement collaborative partners to align and apply student research, via the Community Schools and Students Services Department, for the period of September 30, 2016 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
