16-1971 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and High Expectations Parental Service, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a two-day Family Engagement Learning Institute for 20 Title I schools to develop a Family Engagement Action Plan linked to the site's instructional goals in its SPSA using the U.S. Department of Education's Family Engagement Dual Capacity Building Framework; provide 30 hours of professional development for OUSD's central office Family Engagement Team to provide the necessary tools, resources, and skill set needed to support the implementation of the Family Engagement Action Plan linked to the SPSAs, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00.
