16-1579 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment - Board Policy - Business and Noninstructional Operations - BP 3312 - Contracts and Delegation of Authority - to conform contract approval procedures with the District's current organizational structure by delegating to the Chiefs, the Senior Business Officer, Deputy Superintendent -- in addition to the Superintendent and General Counsel - the authority to enter into contracts up to the amount in the Public Contracts Code (which is currently ($87,800)and to the Deputy Chiefs and the Executive Directors for PEC and Community Schools, authority to enter into Contracts of up to $50,000 in any fiscal year provided the contract is submitted to the Board for ratification within 60 days.
