16-1183 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and E.W. Wainwright, Oakland, CA, for the latter to engage students in activities that promote awareness of the arts, resulting in student appreciation of the arts, career exploration, and its relationship to daily living as well as improvement of self-esteem, confidence, and pride in self; use the integration of the arts, instrumental and vocal music, dance, drama, and/or spirit team to achieve the foregoing objective; coordinate and participate in assemblies and other related activities; assist administrator in program coordination of the Oakland Fine Arts Summer School Program at the International Community School , via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of June 17, 2016 through July 15, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $5,600.00.
