16-0971 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Annette Oropeza, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide services in alignment with the Federal School Climate Transformation Grant and the Coordinated Early Intervention Services mandate for Special Education Department and the Behavioral Health Unit, bringing PBIS to scale across PreK-12 grades, to address issues with implementation of Tier I and to jumpstart teaching and reinforcing a small set of universal positive behavioral expectations with intensive support designed to reduce office referrals and increase engaged instruction within classrooms at all grades, with expected outcomes described in the Scope of Work, at Fremont High School, for the term February 1, 2016 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
