16-1141 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Rebecca Nassiri Consulting , San Francisco , CA, for the latter to support the implementation of balanced literacy; work with the principal, literacy coach, and teachers to help effectively execute basic systems and structures necessary for a successful reading workshop; work with teachers planning lessons, discussing teaching points and mini-lessons; address any challenges teachers are experiencing regarding implementation of the District assigned reading curriculum (The Units of Study for Teaching Reading Series by Lucy Calkin's), at Horace Mann Elementary School, for the term August 24, 2015 through June 9, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $16,216.22.
