16-0375 Approval by the Board of Education of Resolution No. 1516-0156 - Authorization for Approval of Student Travel for 97 students in grades 11 and 12 and 10 adults from Oakland Technical High School to travel to Washington, D.C., and New York City, NY, where in the former City students will engage in seminars and debates on the workings of Congress, the President and the Supreme Court, and visit historical monuments; and in the latter City students will visit the United Nations, CBS News, Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island, Liberty Tower and see a Broadway Play, for the period of March 12, 2016 through March 20, 2016, at no cost to the District.
