16-0195 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Monica Cardenas, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support to the Family Resource Center (FRC) in reaching out to families for school events; run workshops for families around technology use; advise families who come to the FRC on how to monitor their child's school progress; help facilitate family workshops; support the FRC in its work to engage families in the school's vision; and recruit and maintain high attendance to school events as well as facilitate workshops for families, at Urban Promise Academy, for the period of January 11, 2016 through June 9, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $4,290.00.
