15-1973 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Spanish Speaking Unity Council, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support for Latino and African American at-risk students in developing stronger academic, behavioral and social emotional skills; accelerate student academic achievement in core curriculum areas; increase graduation rate of African American and Latino young men; provide targeted intervention for struggling students by engaging teachers, students and families in dialogue about how best to increase student achievement; provide support for at-risk students in developing strong academic, behavioral and social emotional skills at Skyline High School, for the term August 24, 2015 through June 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00.
