15-1409 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Joan Tarika Lewis, Oakland, CA, for the latter to plan and organize visual arts and instrumental music activities that are aligned with the California Core Content Standards for Visual and Performing Arts; explore various art and music forms and show their relationship to ELA and Math; delegate responsibility to build leadership skills; utilize visual and performing arts as a means of career exploration to accomplish the program outcomes, as stated in the Scope of Work, for the Oakland Fine Arts Summer Program, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of June 22, 2015 through July 17, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $4,500.00.
