15-0968 Approval by the Board of Education of Resolution No. 1415-1139 - Award of Bid and Construction Contract between District and O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and rejecting all other bids, if any, to provide removal of existing synthetic turf athletic field and running track, installation of new synthetic turf, chain link fencing, drainage system, asphalt concrete paving, concrete, decomposed granite, ADA accessibility, basketball courts and other items shown on the plans and specifications for a total contract amount of $1,622,352.00, that includes $262,352.00 of owner controlled contingency in conjunction with the Oakland International (Carter) High School Turf Field Replacement Project for the period commencing June 10, 2015 and concluding no later than August 15, 2015 or shall be completed within 66 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the District's Notice to Proceed in the amount of $1,622,352.00.
