R1.-95 15-0887 Shall the Board of Education approve a change in Board Bylaw 9322, as recommended by James Mordecai, to delete the discretion of the Board to decide if an item submitted by a member of the Public for inclusion on the Board's agenda, is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board as provided in Education Code 35145.5?
___________
Note:
A "Yes" vote means the Board Bylaw will be changed. A "No" vote means the Board Bylaw will not be changed.
The five words I requested be deleted will NOT delete the "discretion of the Board to decide if an item submitted by the Public for inclusion on the Board's agenda is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board..." This item is not about the public but about discretion of a majority of the Board to block a Board member from placing an item of Board business on its agenda.
