15-0050 Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the District and Eagle Village Community Center Youth and Family Services, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide additional services adding a Jazz Band Club in the After School Program, teaching students the fundamentals of playing an instrument, touching on the history of jazz as well as teaching students a variety of jazz styles through the act of listening to recordings, analyzing, discussing, and then applying; add instructors to offer greater support in an existing club, support the Program as a whole, and/or lead an additional club for the after school program at Montera Middle School, for the period of July 1, 2014 through August 21, 2015, in the additional amount of $7,036.00, increasing the MOU not to exceed amount from $110,537.00 to $117,573.00. All other terms and conditions of the MOU remain in full force and effect.
