15-0039 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Oakland Public Education Fund, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide the following services: help to create donation systems through the website to help support school parent-student field trips; help to create communication systems that support consistent parent engagement such as website, email, and phone notification; support with creating college awareness with students and families; and provide parent/student education workshops on A-G requirements, high school readiness, common core, college and career and social emotional support for middle school students, at Roots International Academy, for the period October 9, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
