14-2365 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Kamilah Mitchell, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide academic support and mentoring to build students' academic capacity towards graduation and beyond; develop Student Leadership Team and provide support to build student voice and student representation at district-wide events (All City Council, TUPE, etc.); assist student teachers in planning school-wide activities, assemblies and parent outreach; implement and manage a young women's group to build students' social and emotional learning competencies; provide support where conflict resolution is needed by helping students learn anger management strategies and increase self-accountability skills, at Ralph J. Bunche High School, for the period November 3, 2014 through June 12, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $8,400.00.
