Bay Area Council, San Leandro, CA, for the latter to provide a Family Partner Consultant to work a total of 315 hours over the school year with school leadership and teachers to increase levels of family engagement, as measured by attendance at meetings and parent responses to the California Healthy Kids Survey; contact parents to serve on school committees or attend special events; serve as a contact person for Parents to call with questions about school services; serve as a resource to families in need and help develop a plan for creating effective partnerships at Laurel Elementary School, for the term of September 1, 2014 through June 15, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
