14-2354 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Service Contract between the District and HERO, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 1) Social/emotional skills development to support positive behavior) Interventions for behaviorally challenge to students; 3) Community building and teambuilding to support student academic focus and social development; 4) Professional development to staff to better connect with and support students in classrooms in order to reduce the suspension rate at East Oakland Pride School, for the term of August 25, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $28,000.00.
