14-2323 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Alameda County Office of Education, Hayward, CA, for the latter to provide 318 hours of Professional Development Services which will be integrated into a series of professional development trainings as well as observation cycles and feedback sessions with reflection and next steps as needed including topics such as Introduction to Scope and Sequence of the Common Core State Standards; Rigor in the Common Core Expectations; Digging deeper into Math standards and their progressions across grades, Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Writing Across Content Areas; Smarter Balanced Assessments (claims targets and implications); and technology integration, at Roots International Academy, for the period November 3, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00.
