14-2298 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Dorothy Courtney, Oakland, CA, for the latter to 1) train student managers in conflict resolution with focus on anti-bullying strategies; develop schedule for Conflict Managers; supervise Conflict Managers; 2) integrate Second Steps strategies into Conflict Resolution Program; 3) collect and tally Second Step lessons taught by teachers and provide them to the principal; and 4) assist principal or designee in organizing student activities during recess to minimize conflicts and discipline referrals at Madison Park Academy, for the term of August 25, 2014 through June 11, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $16,000.00.
