14-2303 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Scott A. Krumsee, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide direct on-site services for the Restorative Justice (RJ) Program by supporting teachers in the classroom as they implement restorative circles and have restorative conversations with students; train all adults working at the school site in restorative practices; train and support RJ Youth leaders to conduct restorative circles to respond to harm or conflict and support the school site in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive school environment; prep and facilitate restorative family group conference circles for more serious offenses; collect data and provide monthly reports of collected data to District Program Manager and perform other duties include providing conflict resolution with the broader school community and working with administrators to use a restorative discipline matrix, at Roots International Academy, for the period August 25, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00.
