14-2170 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Tiago J. Robinson, Pinole, CA, for the latter to create and oversee academic support programs to the 210 students enrolled in the Visual Arts Academy at Oakland High School. He will provide 80 hours of service to support underperforming students in the Visual Arts Academy program by monitoring student's attendance, creating behavior plan for at-risk students, and reducing referrals to administration and counselors. He will also work as a parent liaison for staff. Mr. Robinson will document and oversee community service hours which are required by the State for all Visual Arts Academy students, for the period October 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $4,000.00.
