14-2122 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Safe Passages, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 674.44 hours of support to lead all components of Madison Park Business and Art Academy (MPA), Elev8 Full Service Community School planning, development, and implementation in coordination with site management and new and existing collaborative partners; develop, oversee, integrate and manage community schools core components including family support, extended day, and health services; create new and support existing community and cross-agency partnerships; consultant will participate in monthly Professional Learning Communities to further the work of the community schools work; convene weekly COST meetings to facilitate a student services referral process; convene monthly partner meetings to increase awareness of school efforts; facilitate opportunities to increase attendance at school; and other community schools efforts as requested and jointly agreed upon, as described in the Scope of Work, for the period July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $31,375.00.
