14-1563 Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and PIQE, Richmond, CA, for the latter to provide a nine week Parent Education Program, covering such topics as Supporting the Academic Achievement of Adolescents Through Their Changes, Connecting Academic Success and Positive Self-Esteem, Overcoming Obstacles to Academic Success, Motivating Students to Read, Understanding the Importance of Middle School as a Bridge to High School, Preparing to Meet the University Admission Requirements, Administrative/Counseling Dialogue (Transcripts), and other services as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Emerson Elementary School, for the period September 18, 2013 through December 11, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $5,500.00.
