14-1586 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and East Oakland Youth Development Center, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide: 1. Two fitness instructors who will lead daily standards-based fitness instruction for each grade level that is age-appropriate, engaging and leads to an increase in overall physical activity, with 330 students benefiting weekly from the service; and 2. Four additional staff to supervise student safety and interactions during lunch and recess and engaging, cooperative game facilitation for each Futures class daily, with 330 students benefiting daily from this service, at Futures Elementary School, for the period September 2, 2013 through June 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $41,440.40.
