14-0578 Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and East Bay Agency for Children, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide: 1. A .5 FTE clinician to deliver group and individual mental health services to students; 2. On-going professional development and consultation to clinicians; 3. On-site clinicians to provide professional development and consultation to Roots teachers and staff on PBIS tier 1 and 2 interventions and a therapeutic lens for working with children from trauma backgrounds; 4. On-site clinicians to provide training and consultation to school staff to address issues of vicarious trauma; and 5. On-site clinicians to support mental health services through the on-site COST process, at Roots International Academy, for the period August 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, at a cost not to exceed $60,000.00.
